Editorial Standards
How we keep guidance safety-first.
Natural Support Finder is designed to make natural wellbeing research calmer, clearer, and more cautious. The site provides general educational information only and is not a source of personal medical advice.
Language standards
We avoid exaggerated or unsafe claims. The site does not use wording such as natural antibiotics, cure, ditch pharmaceuticals, or replace medication. Safer wording includes natural support options, supportive approaches, everyday wellbeing support, and speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
Evidence labels
The Finder uses simple evidence labels to help set expectations:
- Stronger: more consistent clinical or guideline support for the general symptom area.
- Moderate: some useful evidence, but results, product types, or people studied vary.
- Limited: early, mixed, or narrow evidence where claims should be treated carefully.
- Traditional: longstanding use or comfort practice with limited modern clinical proof.
Medication safety
Medicine-related pages and tool results include safety cautions and prompts for when medical advice matters. Antibiotics are handled especially carefully: there is no safe natural substitute for prescribed antibiotics, although supportive wellbeing measures such as rest, hydration, nutrition, and clinician-guided probiotic use may be discussed.
How topics are chosen
Topics are chosen when they can help readers understand a common wellbeing question, compare broad support options, or make sense of a product category without turning the page into a shopping list. New topics should be assigned to a content cluster and checked for health risk before publication.
How health claims are checked
Health, safety, and evidence claims should be checked against reliable sources such as the NHS, NICE, UKHSA, MHRA, Cochrane, recognised charities, professional bodies, or peer-reviewed evidence where appropriate. Product pages and retailer pages are not used to support medical claims.
High-caution topics
Some topics need extra care, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, children, mental health, ADHD, weight-loss medicines, antibiotics, blood pressure, blood thinning, immune conditions, chronic illness, severe symptoms, and prescription medication. These topics should be reviewed manually before they are expanded, promoted, or used as examples.
Product category links
Product links are broad category links, not personalised recommendations. They are intended as neutral browsing starting points. Product suitability depends on a person's health, medicines, age, pregnancy status, allergies, and other individual factors. Affiliate revenue must not override safety cautions, evidence labels, or professional-advice prompts.
Affiliate transparency
Some product links may be affiliate links, including Amazon links. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate income does not determine the educational guidance, safety cautions, evidence labels, or whether a page says a product category may not be suitable.
Review limits
Natural Support Finder does not claim that every page has been reviewed by a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, or other clinician. If expert review is added in future, it should be stated only where it has actually happened.
Corrections and updates
Natural wellbeing information can change. If wording is unclear, a product category appears unsuitable, or safety information should be reviewed, please contact the site owner through the Contact page.
